Hey there, I am a "seasoned" woman, with no toddlers under foot. I have a large family and extended family; and family is important to me. And though my daughters are adults, we are very close and try to spend as much time as we can together. I love where I am in my life now: freedom to roam and explore different avenues. I enjoy gardening and traveling; I love to learn whether taking in a class here or there or seeking a certificate or license. I have worked with the same company for a very long time and I enjoy my job.
I am "girl" who does not like to shop-shocking? Yes I'd rather explore estate sales, yard sales or unique boutiques, than spend hours in a mall. I love all the seasons: Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall, for there are fun indulges to be had in each. Cozying up near the fireplace with a loved one and a glass of wine; or with a good book. Spring time is ideal for gardening, walks along the river, hiking and a host of outdoor activities. Summer is the season of beaches,lakes, get-aways and outdoor bbq's and fun in sun. In the Fall, my dog and I love to take walks along the river or lil joy rides. I love this time of year because it is when my favorite things come together: Thanksgiving, Christmas: family, friends, football and food!
I also enjoy listening to all genres of music, from R&B, to Jazz, to Country, Alternative,Pop. Music is life's universal language. Well thats enough about me...let me hear about you!!

First Date
Depending on the time of year and the preferences of my date. If it is a nice Summer day,an early morning breakfast at a small cafe restaurant on the patio; where we can have a quiet, get to know each other conversation, with a good cup of java. Or perhaps dinner on the river@dawn when the weather cools. Now if we were to grace each others company for the first time in the Fall or winter, lunch in midtown and then a movie sounds good. I love a good movie when the weather is cool; or perhaps lunch at a sports bar where we can engage in some good old fashion competition, while cheering on our respective teams!I am fairly open; I am really not one who believes in "first date etiquette", so to speak. As long as it does not involve a suitcase, a mask, or anything reminiscence of the movie "date night"..
