About Me
Hmmm, well, I have many hobbies. I like to travel, fish, hike, paint, photography, cook, read, garden, woodworking, amature geology, working out, raquetball. I kind of try my hand at most things I develope an interest in, which seems to be more and more. Right now I'm in school for digital art and business, while working for banner health and doing freelance photography and digital design. I also volunteer for the humane society. I'm finishing school and developing my own business, which I'm hoping will allow me to travel a bit more, maybe even using travel for my business. I am a very down to earth, up front, no BS type, along with a bit goofy and open minded. There isn't much I am afraid of, always up for a challenge, and just generally a good nature'd person.
I'm very much an outdoor person, as well as something of a learning type, which I guess adds to my hobbies. I just like to learn and experiance new things. I have a book collection that just keeps getting larger and larger. My tatses in most things have a wide range, though I will admit to liking the nicer things, and that doesn't always mean the more expensive. I like everything from country music to gothic. I prefer fantasy or sci-fi movies, comedy if I've someone to watch them with. I only drink socially, don't smoke or do drugs, though I am 420 friendly, within reason of course.
Now, even though this is a dating site, I am not the type to think just just because we go out and meet once, or are emailing and getting to know each other that we are dating. I prefer to actually know someone before I get into a relationship with them. I am simply taking the time to get to know a person, hang out, spend time with them, and then we can either go that next step into a relationship, and have established something to build it off of, or, if we have decided to take the other route, then two people could remain friends or at least part on good terms. And I am sure, that we have all dated someone that we thought was great at first, but after we really started to get to know them, some of their true colors started coming out. I think getting to know someone is a good way of avoiding the crazy people, lol. And one last little tidbit, I have no issue being with someone who has kids. I may not have any myself, but I do want them someday. As well as that, I am more than willing to take the time to get to know someone from other places and see what happens. The internet opens you up to a whole new world of people, and it would be a shame to miss someone fantastic just because they are "to far away" I don't think there is any such thing, for the right person.

First Date
Well, for a first date, it can range, depending on what I know about the person ahead of time. But, just off hand, I would start with something fun, that would allow us to talk and get to know each other, and usually something even a bit, childish. Arcade, mini golf, go carts. Then, since that would only be for and hour or so, I would take her to a nice dinner or drinks. Thats a general description, and it of course varies depending on the person of course. Basicly, just something that I think she would enjoy and would let us get to know each other followed or preceeded by a good meal, coffee, or drinks.
