About Me
I consider myself to be an honest and down to earth person.. who is searching for someone happy and relaxed, comfortable to be around.. a best friend who will walk beside me and share life to the fullest.. I love to laugh.!! I have raised 3 great kids ( mostly on my own ) and although it was very hard work, it is rewarding to know that my children have the proper morals and standards to live by; sharing time with family means a lot to me and they are a big part of my life. I truly enjoy wonderful meals with friends and a nice bottle of wine, and especially like Greek and Mexican food. I enjoy my yard, gardening beautiful flowers, and renovating my house. I like spontaneity and fun on a moments notice. Some of my hobbies are watching hockey or other sports. I will admit that I am a Leafs Fan.. !! someone has to support them! I will cheer for other teams too! Nascar racing has also been a part of my life.. going to a live race is an incredible experience. I also love camping and the outdoors.. and I am not afraid to get my hands dirty! I live a healthy lifestyle and enjoy many outdoor activities, such as hiking and boating. Travelling to countries such as Mexico and the Carribean have given me some wonderful memories and I would like to continue to experience travels.. I prefer to stay in the little fishing villages along the coast as opposed to a big resort. You really get to know the people of that country that way! I love music in my life..! I listen to a variety of music.. world, classic rock, country and easy listening, no rap for me.
I am not interested in playing emotional or head games.. card games yes ! I hope you have enough confidence and self esteem to know that because I love my children and have them in my life, doesn't mean I can't love a partner too.. there is enough love to go around. Laughing and having fun in a positive environment is important, and rarely do I ever wake up grumpy. Hard work and being strong has gotten me to here... I don't want to spend my life without someone to be there, someone to lean on and trust.. did I reveal too much? ( I mean about the Leafs! ) I like to have good times with my good friends & family once in a while and sometimes I might make a totally rash and crazy suggestion, on a Friday at 3, like let's go to Vancouver this weekend... just you and me. And by the way, I love animals and in the past three years have had to say goodbye to a 13 year old magnificant Boxer Dog, my 16 year old girlie cat, and my special 22 year old Pershian cat.
I am the type of person to accept someone for who they are, and understand that the past is part of who we are. I would respect the hobbies they may have and the space they need, and in turn I believe I deserve that too. I am a romantic and love candlelight, and embracing all that life dishes out.. Acceptance... life is way too short for anything else. If you are searching for someone to be your friend / partner in crime so to speak.. then I look forward to meeting you..!
