I'm a BC boy, born n raised, that values fulfilling and meaningful life experiences over a posh lifestyle. I call kitsilano home, and I love the access to nature it provides after work on the week days, but my heart resides in the sea to sky corridor, and that's where I spend most of my time skiing, biking, swimming, hiking on the weekends. The unique outdoors inspired culture of the Pacific Northwest has greatly influenced my life... The friends I enjoy, the music I listen to, the 'no bad days ' philosophy I aspire to, even the hoppy beverages I consume, all have deep West coast mountain roots. I'm looking for someone who understands my culture.. It seems to be a dying breed here in the city..lost, but not forgotten.
I am looking to meet somone who is athletic and interesting and happy and soulful; someone who is drama free, independent, stoked on life, and in a good place... to make some memories with. I have much to offer the right woman..
My hobbies and my friends are a big part of my life. I enjoy doing fun things and keeping fit, and as a result I probably need a partner who shares a passionl for similar interests... I snowboard a lot, I mountain bike often, I ride a road bike, I play frolf, swim and run and would rather be in the forests and mountains than in suburbia or the concrete jungle. I'm looking to meet an adventurous woman who enjoy the finer things in life, like tennis at a free court, or yoga in the living room, late-night bike rides on the sea wall, or slack-lining in jericho... I like a woman who likes the outdoors, is confident, upbeat, adventurous, can have interesting discussions on a wide array of topics, and very importantly, also likes to laugh (specially while enjoying a bevvy or two in between all the activities). Ideally you wouldn't consider yourself purely a 'city-girl', and it helps if you've grown up with brothers or at least have had a lot of male friends. I like adventure, adrenaline, and endorphins.... I've discovered I need a partner who does too. I also have discovered how the right chemistry is just as important as a shared love of interests. Before I rush into anything, I need to be certain we click in the down time.
I'm an old soul with a lot of life experiences, a rebel (but a moralist), a dreamer (but down to earth), an athlete (but not a jock), I'm 'spiritual' (but not religious), a peaceful warrior type (but I still can enjoy the odd late night kickin it on the dance floor)- I'm health conscious and very active and love life and do my best to live it to the fullest, while making the people around me smile and not being afraid to laugh at myself. I'm traveled, well educated (both formally and in the school of life) and am very much real.
I'm looking forward to hearing from ya!
Does it really matter? Possibly we jump on our bikes and take a cruise round the sea wall... I know lots of great spots to stop and chat, watch the view, play some frisbee, get to know one another. Or maybe we just randomly meet in real life doing the things we're both passionate about.
