I'm sitting here with my coffee listening to a little jazz and reading the paper. Nice to relaxed on Sunday Morning. I'll do a little work around the house today and go for my bike ride once it warms up later on. A bike ride when it 40 degrees just isn't much fun.
I spend time in the yard with a few fruit trees and a bit of a garden. We enjoy the back yard with our pool and fire pit... often with a nice glass of wine.I've earned my brown thumb degree but still working on the "Green Thumb Award". Maybe some more root vegetables?
My time in the hospitality business has helped to define me over the years. I enjoy hosting friends for a afternoon visit, dinner or a party. I always enjoy meeting new people and listening to their stories. Cooking in the kitchen or BBQ and a nice dinner out are great.
We, I have two kids in high school, like the Eastern Sierra's both in the summer and winter. Skiing at Mammoth and a little hiking and outdoor fun. I climbed Mt. Whitney a couple years ago, but enjoy a nice day hike in the mountains. I'm still on Ski's while my kids are on boards. It hurts enough when I fall on skis, a day on one of those boards and I won't move for a week. Just make it safe to the lodge for a something warm... maybe a cuddle and an eskimo kiss.
