I am from southern California (Long Beach), looking to meet some local natives while I am backpacking out in Colorado from May 11th-May 15th. Will be maneuvering my way from Denver, Aurora, then Colorado Springs! Just looking for some friends to stay present with and create some memories to cherish while I am out there. If I find love to complement, long distance would not be an issue when my life is manifested in a suitcase.
If you're open to meditation or physical exercise, please continue. I am active with yoga, meditation, hiking, bonfires, stargazing, and working out at the gym. Even though I have my own place (extremely independent), I consider the beach my home. I also got into rock-climbing recently. I prefer to hangout with a best friend I can feel meditative with. A kindred spirit would be nice. The more, or less, the merrier! All genders included. That's all I'm intending for at the moment.
"Who I was yesterday is not who I am today." Now, I strongly live by this more and more.
Currently training and practicing for Vipassana Meditation at North Fork, CA. It's been extremely challenging as each day presents itself. If it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you! It would be pleasant to find someone I can also sit in silence with.
TRAVELING SOLO -I've backpacked out to 3rd world countries, road trip along the coast of CA and 12 different states and still ongoing.
I ENJOY CAMPING A LOT -Just got a new waterproof tent to add to my adventures.
Be genuine and grateful not just today, but EVERYDAY! Just looking for friends who practice self development regularly on their own time and looking to share their continued practice with some positive energy. I've been BURNED by those who do not follow through with action. If it's important to us, we will make time for it, despite our differences. It would be nice to find some more friends I can trust and be honest with while appreciating the silly things in life together. I would be grateful to come across someone who has integrity through introspection and consideration towards themselves and others. I do not use facebook, snapchat, twitter, etc. I rarely watch TV unless it's something I want to learn to expand my knowledge. With that stated, I respond back to thoughtful messages. Gaining a devoted friend from this site that has the old school communication to grow, hike and meditate with would be all I can ask for.
Communication plays a key role, whether it's actively listening, responding back in a timely manner, or just being considerate. If your response lacks empathy, I'll consider that you're not interested or prone to boredom. So if you're more into IG, FB, Twitter instead of holding actual intellectual conversations, I might NOT be that friend to float into your life.
"The independence or detachment of creative individuals is at the heart of their capacity to take risks and to expose themselves to the probability of criticism from their fellows. More significant than their receptivity to the external world is their exceptional openness to their inner life. Self understanding and self acceptance of others." -J. Gardner
PLEASE NOTE: I don't care if you smoke, but be considerate to our home and responsible for your own trash. If you throw your cigarette butts on the ground after smoking, please take the time to ash it out, and throw it in the garbage as much as you took the time to find a lighter and spark it. Nobody wants to pick up after your disgusting habit. If you read up to this point, and agree with me, please feel free to message me or exit to the next profile.

A journey through connections and brilliant, real-life blossoming stories to share.
I want to share music, attend concerts, have talks about creating a world for the open-minded with shifted perspectives. Find some night hiking trails, teach me to catch a bass, learn new dance steps, camping, snowboarding and meet more awesome people in our lives. So many beautiful people to see and positive energies to unite with.
If you have any awesome hiking trails to share, or will be attending any tribal GATHERINGS or nature retreats, I DEFINITELY want to meet you.
