Have a seat!, put your feet up..this'll take a while!
I think we are all basically looking for that elusive match but we are often guilty of looking no further than the "nuts and bolts", rather than what a person has to say. ( ie: whats in your head hmm?)
Being able to communicate is SO important...if you are the silent type.: "good luck in your search"...being a good listener as well as a communicator..is a good thing.
A nutty sense of humour, a ready smile?...who could ask for more?

Curiosity....if lifes a bore to you..MUST I entertain you???..
And speaking of "musts"..: wake up in a good mood!..I mean REALLY!..is that so hard? ( don't bite my hand when I bring you coffee!)
Oh...and please be in reasonable shape..Test: can you tie your own shoelaces?..do you own runners that actually get used for running, walking??..I'm not perfect either, but I like to get out and enjoy the "great outdoors". Can you keep up? Will you try?
A job?...one you love and look forward to every morning as I do. "fabulously wealthy" works for me too...may I borrow the keys to your Porsche?..(..kidding..)
One of the really big ones I think...is being able to accept that we each (by now, one hopes) have our own "truths" about life and living, and that we're not likely to change our beliefs very quickly. Its actually possible to disagree with someone and still respect them. ( horrid thought eh?)I like to think that we "evolve" together rather than change each other, its important to be unique, to be the best "you" that you can be (be yourself...everyone else is taken!)... ok , and if you can actually understand this ,I'm a little worried...
An important one : respect is often overlooked, you'll never truly love someone if you can't respect them...it works both ways....and its earned not given.
(oh this list is getting long isn't it!..but hey its MY list!)
Lets add touching to the magic formula, holding hands is a good thing..I mean HOW could you be mad at someone whose hand you are holding...think about it! ( and no I'm not talking about 1st dates etc , but later and if lucky; always)
Kids...most of us have them, and they have to come first always. Mine live with my ex but we spend good quality time together. Both teens ( 17 and pushing 19), handsome/cute as hell, smart as whips , athletic and well...perfect!. Now that they are teens they are so involved with friends etc..I often end up simply visiting( and shopping...acck) with them.
I've had the quads and camper for a few years now and its definately fun for all..even you! Its not about scaling tall cliffs and seeing how deep that mudpit is...its about enjoying the great outdoors with friends...safety is #1! Get up off that couch!
Music? if you are into "headbanger", or rap...I'm NOT your man...sorry!Everything else is good.
And yeah..I am a wordy person, as you might guess...so beware!

First Date
Deciding what do do on the first date isn't really the issue....people actually used to do this before the internet came along...not to mention the phone...(you know ; that thing that a person can talk into?)..an amazingly new kind of technology...even better than the net!
Next thing you know...(sit down for this one)...we might even meet! Isn't that what we're here for???
Coffee shops...even Starbucks...well they seem to have the wrong effect for that 1st time meeting...the caffeine maybe puts us on edge? ( as if we aren't already??) Lets instead meet for a glass of wine together...just a short visit..try to be friendly and fun even if we both might want to run away very fast! I can do that...can you?( both friendly, fun...and I can still sprint for the parking lot!)
