Hey, just moved back home to Colorado from Sioux Falls. It's great to be back in Fort Collins!
So, 2015: trying to make some changes, like working out more efficiently, eating better, reading some more instead of watching TV, drinking less, attending church regularly, and just generally becoming a better and stronger person.
My personality is mostly collected and quiet, even somewhat shy. Even though I may might not show my emotions all the time, I generally have a good heart, attend church weekly, and am a great listener. Sometimes I enjoy cooking (I'm secretly a Rachael Ray fan).
I am an Air Force brat, so have lived in many different places including Germany, North Dakota, California, Hawaii, New York, Kansas, Colorado, Nebraska, and of course, South Dakota. Having lived in all these various locations has made it easy for me to be open to people of different races, religion, and beliefs. While it has made me a more well rounded individual, however, it has not necessarily made me more outgoing though...
"We're more connected than ever before, but completely disconnected at the same time. We've forgotten how to communicate. How is it possible to grow and mature together if we barely speak? You can't love someone when you're preoccupied with worrying about what others think of you. Whether it be posting pictures on social media, buying homes to compete with others or going on lavish vacations — none of it matters."
Tired of emailing/texting for five days, then nothing....
