I am by no means on here looking for something casual. I've always wanted to find love and be an awesome wife and mother, so that's the direction I would ultimately like to go IF I meet the right man. If having a family doesn't interest you, I'm not the woman for you. Yes, I'm 37 and still want children.
I have a good job, own a home, have a decent car, a great family, a great dog and 2 crazy kittens. The only thing missing is great man to share life's joys with. Someone to stand by my side. Someone who will support me when I need it. Someone who will take care of me and let me take care of them. Though I am strong, I do love a man who is even stronger, who takes his role as the man in the relationship seriously. One who is manly, yet has a kind, gentle heart. Kind of a scruffy teady bear ;) A man who will treat me like a lady. I guess I'm a little old fashioned and traditional in some ways, especially when it comes to relationships. I also love being a woman and I embrace my womanly, feminine qualities......I'm loving, nurturing, love to cook and bake, take care of my man, wear dresses, etc. But, don't get me wrong, I like to get dirty too: shooting, fishing, gardening, etc.
I don't really have a particular type, but I'm definitely attracted to a man with a good heart and morals and values.....and absolutely a man who can make me laugh. Also, I kinda think facial hair is sexy, especially beards ;)
I do, currently, have a pretty busy schedule with work, family, projects at home, trying to get healthy and going to the gym, but for the right guy, I can make my schedule work.
If you think we might be a good fit, take a chance and send me a message.
****disclaimer**** If you smoke pot on a regular basis, or do any kind of other drugs, please don't contact me. We won't work.
Once upon a time there was a boy who loved a girl, and her laughter was a question he wanted to spend his whole life answering.
-Nicole Krauss, The History of Love
For the two of us, home isn't a place. It is a person. And we are finally home.
-Stephanie Perkins, Anna and the French Kiss (Anna and the French Kiss, #1)
You know you're in love when you can't fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams.
...I fell in love the way you fall asleep: slowly, and then all at once.
-John Green, The Fault In Our Stars
It is not a lack of love, but a lack of friendship that makes unhappy marriages.
There is never a time or place for true love. It happens accidentally, in a heartbeat, in a single flashing, throbbing moment.
-Sarah Dessen, The Truth About Forever
I am nothing special, of this I am sure. I am a common man with common thoughts and I've led a common life. There are no monuments dedicated to me and my name will soon be forgotten, but I've loved another with all my heart and soul, and to me, this has always been enough.
-Nicholas Sparks, The Notebook
If you can make a woman laugh, you can make her do anything.
We’re all a little weird. And life is a little weird. And when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall into mutually satisfying weirdness—and call it love—true love.
-Robert Fulghum, True Love
You don't love someone because they're perfect, you love them in spite of the fact that they're not.
-Jodi Picoult, My Sister's Keeper
Love never dies a natural death. It dies because we don't know how to replenish its source. It dies of blindness and errors and betrayals. It dies of illness and wounds; it dies of weariness, of witherings, of tarnishings.
If I had a flower for every time I thought of you...I could walk through my garden forever.
So, I love you because the entire universe conspired to help me find you.
-Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist
The best love is the kind that awakens the soul and makes us reach for more, that plants a fire in our hearts and brings peace to our minds.
Never love anyone who treats you like you're ordinary.
Every heart sings a song, incomplete, until another heart whispers back. Those who wish to sing always find a song. At the touch of a lover, everyone becomes a poet.
What I want is to be needed. What I need is to be indispensable to somebody. Who I need is somebody that will eat up all my free time, my ego, my attention. Somebody addicted to me. A mutual addiction.
-Chuck Palahniuk, Choke
They say a person needs just three things to be truly happy in this world: someone to love, something to do, and something to hope for.
