I was fortunate enough to get custody of my kids and be able to work from home and spend a generous amount of time with them, quit my job in downtown San Francisco with crazy hours, constant travel, horrible commute. My kids have blossomed into fantastic near adults. And I still have the luxury of working when I want and playing when I want. I wouldn't trade my life for anyone else's , and all I lack is someone to share my great life with.
I am emotionally and financially stable, educated, well-traveled, articulate, affectionate, and tired of trolling the internet for a date!!!! As someone said, I hope my next first kiss is my last first kiss.
I think the first "date", should be more of a first meeting, something casual and without pressure. The first date is really something after that, when mutual interest has been established.
