About Me
I am a confident, social, outgoing person and have my act together, with a great group of friends and looking for similar traits in a woman, being independent and self assured a big plus. I have a great family and am very close to them too! I love BC wine, eating in restaurants and cooking at home, live music (from punk shows, to a jazz cafe and the symphony too). I also play in a band and love doing that. I work in the film and TV industry have done so all my life and love it!
I'm a bit of a foodie and love to cook and love try new things. Going to art galleries is always a fave! I'm not into new country, pop or hip hop music, but music more off the beaten path, from Tom Waits to punk to rockabilly to big band jazz. British comedies such as The Black Adder, The Young Ones, Ab Fab, Black Books and The Alan Partridge show are personal faves along with IT Crowd, SCTV, Kids in the Hall and Flight of the Conchords are great too! A sense of humour is a absolute must. Always a huge plus is someone who isn't afraid to take chances from a last minute road trip to making an a*** of oneself and laughing until you cry. I ride a motorcycle and love to travel (Europe especially). I am very straightahead, laid back, has a strong sense of self, is patient, honest, chivalrous and am interested in someone who's not afraid of being themselves and would be interested in meeting someone with who is likewise, who's between 30-40 and is lives a healthy lifestyle. First Date
Although it's cliche, coffee is a good start, but a glass of wine on a patio is even better. A food court, on the other hand, is not. If you're a few straws shy of a picnic basket, gun stores or places with sharp knives is a big no-can-do.
