Today’s fresh catch is from Ohio along the shores of Lake Erie. Midwest raised, but after almost six years here, I guess I qualify for transplant status. As I spent most of those years primarily focused on building my career opportunities, I am now ready to be a tourist in my own city and find out what Los Angeles really has to offer. Some of my favorite places so far include the Getty Center, and the farmer’s market on Fairfax.
Two of the achievements that I am most proud of:
I was the first woman in my large Irish family to graduate from college, which I self-financed.
I now exercise at least five days a week. I realized that I can better serve the people that I love and care about in my life, if I love and care about myself.
Some other things about me that you might find interesting…I am a lucky person, and won my car in a rubber duck race. I am an avid reader, and yes, there are books and novels by my bed. I went sky diving for my birthday. I have won my office NCAA bracket pool the last four years running. I am spontaneous, flexible and able to compromise. I was raised by two loving and dysfunctional parents who seem to get smarter, the older I get. I believe that a life lived without passion is no life at all.
I am looking for someone who is kind, intelligent, compassionate, and respectful and physically fit, a man's man. Someone that loves to travel and takes responsibility for their choices and actions. A sense if humor is a must, as I love to laugh, even if the joke is on me
