About Me
A little about me: I love to spend time with family and friends, but enjoy time alone as well. I am happiest enjoying the outdoors, but love to spend time inside watching movies. I love all genre's of movies, but enjoy romantic comedy and drama the best (of course, I am a women)! When I have time I like to scrapbook and read. Something I wish I could do more of is travel. I dream of visiting Italy and Ireland some day.
Outside: Snow sports are great, and as a family me and the kids love to ski and snowboard. We also enjoy camping (and I mean in a tent...although we sleep on cots), and visit the beach often. Festivals, amusement parks, traveling, and swim meets are some of our routine activities. I love to keep the kids busy and active. I believe this makes for a well-rounded and adjusted child...NOT SPOILED!
Kids: I have three great kids (of course I would say that, right?), and 10 months out of the year I always have a foreign exchange student!
Work: I am a teacher and work in special education. It is a great career, but not everyone could do it. You have to be very patient, compassionate and caring. I do love the amount of time off it affords me. I have the same schedule as my kids, so this allows me to spend the most time with them to support and be involved in their activities.
You must be: Well groomed (which includes smelling good...no foot fungus please), neatly and nicely dressed (It is ok to wear a t-shirt and jeans but it should not be wrinkled and stained), gentleman (I appreciate my door being opened for me, but I also can open and close it myself), punctual (Really? Are you late on your first date?), goal orientated (Do you have purpose or you flopping in the wind?), family orientated (I have three kids...you must like kids because we are a package), educated (you don't have to hold a degree but you must be able to carry a conversation that does not include sports and cars), personable (are you comfortable meeting people? Can you interact?), responsible (need I say more?), and last respectful (there is no compromise here).
I love to laugh and have fun. I can and have to be serious way to often. Are you witty? Can you make me laugh?

A very low key meeting in a public place would be ideal. No pressure, No expectations. Let's meet..talk...share a drink, cup of coffee, or just stroll along the beach and be friends. Anything from there is a bonus but not expected. If the chemistry is not there, then it just isn't there.
