I feel that the most important aspects in any relationship are respect, thoughtfulness and consideration as well as honesty, trust and loyalty. Communication is key. You will receive this from me, and I would appreciate them in return. I believe in treating others as I would like to be treated. We both have our priorities, and it will take time for each of us to place eachother amongst the rest. Patience and understanding on both our parts is important. If you have children, I know that they will be your top priority, and time challanges may occur.
What am I looking for? Friendship first, and then we'll see where it goes from there.
Important qualities: Yeah physical attraction is important, but I value the person within. He will have honor and integrity. A guy who likes who he is and what he's doing. Someone who enjoys life and laughter. He doesn't have to be perfect, and I won't expect him to change to meet my 'ideals' (No one should have to do that). A love of nature and being outdoors would be nice. Reasonably fit and health minded is a plus.
I'm pretty laid back. I enjoy the simple things in life. I like sports and being outside. I love going to the coast not necessarily just the beach. The sound and energy of waves crashing on the rocks has its own power. My favorite places to visit are Sequoia Nat'l Park, and Disneyland. Family and friends are important to me. I like day trips and exploring. I also enjoy staying home, gardening, BBQ's, watching TV/movies. Laughter is very important, as is playfulness. I enjoy festivals & fairs; county, street, craft, etc. Some times I like to sing and dance around just for the fun of it. Enjoy life! I also believe that it's important to try new things and keep learning. I recently started to learn how to play the ukulele.
New favorite quote. I got this off of a T-shirt: "Think outside. No box needed."
An example of what makes me unique is the glass with water in it. The question is, is it half full or half empty, (optimist/pessimist) as if those are the only possible answers. My answer has always been, it's a glass with water in it = realist.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. If you made it this far then let's chat, or at least say 'Hi'. =0]
I reply to all who write. It's only common courtesy.
*Not sure why POF decided to ask us to use one word to describe our personality, I wouldn't chose any of the ones they have listed. I guess I'll go with "Crafty" because I like to make things and am a 3D artisan. -- Now POF wants us to chose a level of ambition. Why? Like anyone is going to say that they're not ambitious. It seems to me that everyone here has to be somewhat ambitious otherwise we wouldn't be on this site. It takes some ambition to seek out another. Just a thought...
