I like traveling, seeing plays/musicals and other shows, going to museums, dancing (I'm a dancer at heart - grew up doing it all, tap, ballet, modern dance, kickline, etc.). I love NPR and find their rational and informative approach to news calming and helpful to keep me in the know. Oh, and I LOVE "Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me!" They crack me up on that show! I really like clever humor and am pretty witty, myself! :)
I work in admissions in higher ed and am also pursuing my MBA. My current work is a drastic switch from my former career in New York City where I was for five years. I work hard and I also like relaxing or doing the everyday things that make life memorable. I come from a large Italian family and I'm also blessed to have my grandparents nearby - married for 66 years! I have two brothers and even though I can hang with the guys, being the only girl actually made me pretty feminine.
Essentially I'm looking to connect with someone I can call my best friend. I'd love to develop a committed, real and loving relationship with the right person. I'm old fashioned and so connecting as people always comes first. Also, I should probably address sports since this is Boston. I grew up a mile from Gillette Stadium and love football, but I don't prioritize watching sports above anything else. (As is the case with TV in general, actually.) I can appreciate it, but I'm likely not the right girl for you if sports are an extrodinarily high priority in your life.
Be in touch if you are a respectable, driven, honest and caring gentleman with a good sense of humor and good values and you can identify with what Thoreau said, "Be true to your work, your word, and your friend." If you think you are up for meeting someone great and are open to the possibility of a real relationship then don't be shy!
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
Time typically permits a drink or coffee for the first date so we can see if we want to get to know each other more. Since you are a gentleman you'd ask me out and make the arrangements.
