I have a graduate degree and work in administrative field for the government. I'm not bragging, I just put that so any women reading immediately know that I'm intelligent, hard working and I have a steady ncome.
I grew up in West Knox. I like all kinds of music, especially classic rock, Beatles, Rolling Stones, Doors, jam bands, Led Zeppelin. I like some country music, but not some of the "new" pop country. I love movies. I am a film enthusiast.
Im shy at first. I like talking and drinking and laughing, especially when it leads to getting to know each other. I like to talk a lot. Some say too much. But I've been told I am a genuinely good listener as well. I enjoy keeping up with the news and politics.
I do like watching college football. I like soccer too. I enjoy hiking and fishing. I enjoy movie quotes from the 1980s.
I used to go to church more, but my church friends have all married, so you know how that is. Married people seem to hang with other married people. I would be open to going to church again. I went to non-denominational evangelical but I was raised Episcopal.
Television:
River Monsters, anything on Discovery or Animal Planet, Jeopardy. I don't like "reality" television where the people are so fake... Kim Kardashian does not wake up in the morning wearing perfectly-applied make-up! its b.s!! I like Dancing with the Stars, but i don't like American Idol. The judges are too pompous and smug.
Food: Medium-rare steak at Outback, sushi at Nama, chinese, Mexican (Chuys!), Italian (Altrudas!), oyster roast, seafood, fried catfish

First Date
Ideally, I think it'd be best to meet at a restaurant or bar for dinner or drinks. First dates are awkward, but they should just be laid back and fun. Life is too short for anxiety and worry all the time. I like to keep things light hearted. There is enough misery in the world. I don't like drama.
