Hi,
My name is Rusty and I have been living in Savannah for a couple of years now and I love it here. Like my headline says I am nice guy who’s trying to not finish last. I always thought that was just a line (that nice guys finish last) but as I have gone through life, it seems that it is true.
A little about me:
I am caring and loving person. I have a great sense of humor and try to make a good time out of any situation. One of my favorite quotes is “worrying is like a rocking chair, it gives you something to do, but doesn’t get you anywhere.” (Bonus points if you know what movie that is from.) With that being said I am not a clown all the time and can be serious when I need to be.
I am college educated; I have a BS in Chemical Engineering from Auburn University (War Eagle!). I am looking to go back and get my MBA. While I can be nerdy sometimes, I wouldn’t say I am a nerd :) One day I would like to own my own business. I want to be my own boss.
I love just about all sports, with football being my favorite. I am a big music fan; I can’t imagine my life without music. I like some of all genres of music. My iPod has everything from classical to rap, and everything in between. I really like going to concerts and shows.
One of my favorite things to do with my free time is traveling. I have been all over the USA and been to several countries (England, Scotland, Netherlands, Egypt, Lebanon, Bahamas, Mexico, Canada and always looking to go somewhere else).
A few more random facts: I have a miniature dachshund named Cam. I have more than one favorite movie, but a few are the Hangover, The Shawshank Redemption, and Major Payne. Some of my favorite music artists are: James Brown, Sir Mix a lot, Eminem, Beethoven, and Johnny Cash.
I am big guy, I am working on losing weight but, it is a slow process. It doesn’t slow me down though. I know some people can’t get over it, but that is fine..to each their own.
