About Me
Hmmm...I can tell you that I am not good at writing about myself. I am much better at talking in person. Writing is a liability for me because I am wordy and such a bad speller. I use 500 words when 3 will suffice and I am a slave to the squiggly red and green lines that show up on MS Word. Hopefully, that is forgivable.
I love being outdoors and active. I cannot wait until the West Side Path is clear of snow and moisture. My bike and my inline skates will be regulars over there. Another of my favorite things is to take my bike into Brooklyn or Queens and just explore the outer boroughs. There is so much there that is not given its due.
What else...I do love cooking and dining out; food in general. I can't say whether I prefer fine dining over a burger stand because if it tastes good, then I am happy. I will say, however, Morimoto just took over the crown as my favorite restaurant in the city.
Fact about me: I cannot check in for a flight online or at the kiosk. I just learned that my name is so common that it actually is on a watch list. There is someone out there with my name that the Patriot Act wants to keep its eye on, thus I have to go to the representative every time. Not to worry, I've yet to be detained.
Finally, I was raised Jewish, but am not religious and people say I am intelligent, caring, sensitive and witty.
I am looking for someone who is communicative, but also a good listener. Someone who is caring, likes to laugh and with whom I have common interests. Of course, I am looking for chemistry also. I am a romantic and am still hopeful that the person who will be my partner is out there. I'll be keeping my eyes open...

First Date
Drink, coffee, dinner, walk in Riverside or Central Park. Good conversation anywhere, to me, makes a great first date. As long as both people are looking forward to the second date, it was a success.
