About Me
Some stuff about me:
I'm a "fixer" and like to take care of people so I'm always happy to lend a hand or help out whenever it's possible. Even a simple thing like holding a door open is a great way to put a smile on someone else's face. I lead an active lifestyle - mostly because it's fun - so, I'd like to be with someone who embraces an active lifestyle too. That said I'm not just looking for a fitness fanatic and I don't spend every spare waking moment "working out." Just like you I enjoy doing all the other typical stuff most of us have listed on our profiles, including sitting on the couch watching some mind rot on tv or *gasp* reading a book. My humor definitely runs on the sarcastic side so you should be okay with a little verbal sparring every now and then. If you hurt my feelings I'll just curl up into a ball in the corner and cry until you bring me some fresh baked cookies or delectable treat - maybe you! ;) I'll debate anything - sometimes with great aplomb and ferocity if it's something I'm passionate about. Otherwise it's fun just to discuss stuff and see why people stand behind what they do. Needless to say I'm curious about the human equation - what makes people tick and their reasoning behind things. I love to eat, sometimes copius amounts, but that's an advantage of being active - you can get away with more in your diet. I've noticed I tend to prefer women of strong character who have something to say. Oh and a few things that may matter to you; I don't drink coffee, don't eat sushi and don't drink beer (actually I hardly ever drink anything at all) but will happily scarf down an entire container of ice cream after eating bbq'd steak with grilled veggies and some large salad we've concocted together.
One last quick note, I've selected "I want to date but nothing serious" because that's where I feel a great relationship will begin. If it's right for something more then we'll know.
Thoughts about life:
We all have something or things we do well in life with not a lot of effort - it just seems to happen. Likewise, we all have things we can excel at just as long as we work hard at them. But we also have at least one thing that no matter how hard we work it will never really happen for us. So the trick is to not spend a lifetime of frustration trying to win at something you can't - just be happy with what you have and let it be at that. Focus your energy on the things you can improve and be happy to sit and marvel at those who have strengths different from yours. Beauty can be found in anything, it just depends on how you look at it.
Thoughts about love
Finding love can be a daunting proposition
But living without one to love is like slowly dying of starvation.
So it is that the desire to fill that hunger make us willing to potentially risk being hurt.
Or, sadly, of possibly hurting another.
However when it's right, we will know.
As when we kiss the details of life will fade to the background.
And when we make love the earth will disappear beneath us.
You are out there my love, and we will find each other.
