Creative professional interested in making new friends, and finding a lifetime co-host and cuddle-buddy.
I love to hang out at sidewalk cafes, explore new places, and look at architecture and landscapes. I enjoy lively debate and conversation, and people who encourage and inspire one another.
My politics and faith are in a period of rapid change (both becoming more liberal), but I can say I care deeply about faith, and am periodically passionate about politics.
Landscaping and travel are probably my most regular hobbies, but I love to cook, go to movies, sing, attend the symphony, go to plays, read, rollerblade, and more.
I like to work, as long as the work is interesting and with fun people, but I'm far from a workaholic. I'm at my best chairing a meeting or committee, solving problems, and managing special events.
Little kids love me, and I love them. I'm hoping I can still be fun once they're old enough to know better.
I want to be an entrepreneurial free spirit, but it's hard not to be a loyal, reliable employee these days.
Hmmm. Can't we just wake up old and married and awesome? Well, since we have to start somewhere, perhaps we could start with lunch at Tortilla Coast on Capitol Hill, and then a walk to the Eastern Market flea market. If things are going well, we could linger over coffee. If my checkbook allowed, we'd jet off to Berlin or Los Angeles. But it doesn't...so maybe that will have to be the second date.
