Alright, meeting online like this...we'll have to come up with a better story:) I grew up in TN, have moved all around the US, and now I'm back at work for a few years in TN. I'm hoping to keep meeting new friends and hopefully more. I'd like to meet someone smart, caring, and able to keep up in life's adventures. I stay active and always busy doing something. This past year I finished an Ironman and learned a lot renovating my house in my "free" time. I'm an engineer in the Air Force, enjoying the ride, and trying to have as much fun as I can... I've had fun moving around and trying new things as I go.
I like doing it all...hiking, camping, kayaking, swimming, biking, snowboarding...farmers markets, concerts, festivals, cooking, coffee, local dives, micro-breweries... I also love to travel--and I've got a few passport stamps to prove it. I keep adding new places to my dream list much faster than I can mark them off. I like to eat local and organic with splurges thrown in to make sure I get enough junk food. And good food trumps labels any day. I mostly just like to try new food and get new experiences. When I travel, I love experiencing new food.
The hardest thing about this online thing is finding chemistry...so we'll have to meet to test it out. I hope my date will be:
- A good person with strong values--we don't have to agree everywhere, but I want to be with someone kind, honest, open-minded, trustworthy who would like a family someday
- Smart--educated or not, and interested in the world. I want someone with me that can keep up
- Active--pick as sport or activity, I'd like to be able to share the outdoors and healthy fun. Go on a hike, run, or bike ride together
- A traveller...or a traveling hopeful. I can't see myself ever wanting to stop exploring the world.
