About Me
I'm laid back and spontaneous but use my day planner/phone calendar religiously. I can be silly and a practical joker but am serious about the important things in life. I love my job and have worked hard to get where I am but no two days are the same and it can get crazy (although I wouldn't have it any other way). My family is my family and so are my friends. My dog is small in stature but big in terms of personality. I am passionate about traveling as much as possible but sometimes there's nothing better than a nap in my hammock in my own backyard. My iPod has tons of Jay Z...but just as much Kenny Chesney...and Aerosmith...and Imagine Dragons...and Swedish House Mafia (30 plugs gigs of music on my iPod). I'm a huge fan of watching a game at Fenway/the Garden/Gillette but love to play sports just as much as I like to watch them. My favorite dance move is probably still the sprinkler even though I took 20 years of dance lessons. Movies are awesome and books equally so. It's fun to go to bar trivia but a boardgame night at home on a Saturday night can be perfect. An ice cold beer can make a long day much better, as can a great glass of wine. It's important to like where you are, but even more important to like who you're with. I love to be behind the camera instead of in front of it usually. I play it safe most of the time, but have a daredevil streak (love ziplining!). The only thing that trumps live theater for me is a concert (extra points if its in the summer...and at the Pavilion or Comcast Center). I dig getting dressed up for a night out on the town but my heart is at the dive bar down the street where there's $2 drafts and an 80s or 90s cover band playing. Having a great meal out is nice but making a great meal at home is more satisfying.
I would just like to meet a guy who could be my partner in crime and thunder buddy. He has his life together,enjoys some of the same things that I do, has his own career and interests, etc. and is just as comfortable going to a work event with me as he is hanging at home watching a game and having a beer.
