About Me
Ansel Adams a dit (traduction) – « on ne prend pas une photo, on la créé ». (PVI –http://www.anseladams.com/)
C’est un peu ma vision de la vie. Un « moment », ce n’est pas un événement figé dans le temps, mais l’amalgame de tout ce que nous avons fait. Ils sont créés par nos actions (et inactions) et renforcent notre vie.
Cela dit, j’adore bouger, être en mouvement. J’adore le plein air et le sport, compétitif et pour le plaisir. C’est aussi aller à une partie de la « Saint-Flanelle » ou de l’Impact, perdre du temps dans un musée, partir en road trip, déconnant sur du Bernard Adamus (N.B. : j’offre les bouchons pour les oreilles ;-) ) ou encore marcher le canal en long et large avant de s’effondrer pour une froide à la micro-brasserie McAuslen.
La photo; c’est ma grande passion, notamment le Noir et Blanc. Les photos les marquantes sont composées d’un mariage parfait de contrastes. Ça miroite ma façon d’approcher la vie. Ce sont les contrastes qui forment et définissent notre monde. Combien de fois as-tu été émerveillée et agréablement surprise car soudainement, « vivre de quoi » auquel tu ne t’attendais vraiment pas dans ce lieu et moment?
Cette même passion me pousse à voyager. De la république Czech au Costa Rica, la Gaspésie en Winnebago avec un chum ou arpenter les rues de MTL à découvrir les meilleurs restos qu’on ne trouve pas dans un guide Michelin.
J’veux rencontrer une femme qui perçoit la vie comme moi. De mettre les efforts pour en jouir, et ne pas se faire chier. Une personnalité forte, confiante, une bonne dose d’énergie, qui peut trouver le positif dans tous les défis et surtout, prête à se battre pour ses convictions (*cough*.. . j’suis peut-être un peu tête de cochon parfois alors…mais bon).
Ah oui. Faut que tu sois bilingue, jusqu’à un point. Exemple, si on regarde un film, on le voit dans sa langue originale.

That pretty much defines my view on everything. A moment is not just an event happening at a precise time, but the build-up of everything that came before. They are created by our every actions (or inactions) and compose your life.
That said, I love being in motion. I love the outdoors and sports. I need those few hours every week to let loose. It can also be headind out to a Habs or Impact game, wasting time in a Museum, blasting the latest Foo Fighters on a road trip, walking the canal and stop for a pint at the St-Ambroise brewery.
Photography is my passion; notably Black and White. It's when you get the best balance of contrasts that you manage to create the most memorable photos. This drives my thoughts and my view on life. Find out what is different to fully enjoy its richness. It urges me travel as much as can. From Czech Republic to Costa Rica, touring la Gaspésie with a buddy in a beaten down Winnebago or strolling Montreal’s neighbourhoods and discovering their hidden gems.
I hope to meet someone with a similar view yet, and obviously, their own distinct personally. Remember; contrasts (but not opposite).
Someone who loves to learn new things and will show others new things. Who has plenty of energy and positive spin on everything. See the world as a challenge, not a chore. Sincere in her views, who’ll stand up for what she believes and will fight for what she wants (*cough*... helps a little considering I can be slightly pigheaded sometimes... just saying).
Also, this is a deal breaker. You have to be bilingual, to a certain extent. If we’re going to see a movie, we’ll see it in its original language.
