To start off, I'm new to the area. I moved to Eugene in July for work and have been putting in a lot of hours. If I don't know places or locations that the reason why.
I don't care for the one word description of personality because I don't feel I fall into a specific category. I put geek because I do love books, movies, games, etc. but I also consider myself an athlete. I ran track in college and love sports. Basketball has been a passion of mine and while I'm not talented enough to play it at a competitive level (no NBA for me), I stay close to the game refereeing college and high school games. My goal is to one day be refereeing PAC-12 games.
Other thing I enjoy which I haven't talked about yet is music. For awhile, I was going to a couple concerts a year. Not large concerts but smaller ones held in Medford or at the Britt in Jacksonville. I listen to primarily pop/r&b. Bowling is always fun. I seem to bowl just often enough to be consistently inconsistent. Growing up I went to plays quite often but haven't been to one in years. Maybe with the living in a larger town I might get a chance to go see some. One thing I've really enjoyed since moving to Eugene is the biking. Where I use to live there was lots of hills and weather was too extreme for me to get into it.
Yes, that is Penn & Teller I'm standing next to in the pictures. Saw their show in Vegas and it was amazing. Also just to clarify Penn's a giant, I'm not midget.
If there is anything I haven't covered which you want to know email me.
I'm probably going to break the typical response of some hugely romantic extravagant date. Nothing against extravagant romantic dates, but a first date in my opinion needs to be different. Something simple which gives us both a chance to learn who each other are. A dessert at a local restaurant where we can talk and get to know one another is generally good.
