I'm looking for someone to date and possibly travel with. If it should develop into something more, that's fine too. I have recently retired and I am looking for someone to share this new chapter. I'm new to this area and need help finding all the cool things to do and see. I have family in Florida and Kentucky, so I travel to both several times a year.
Let's have some fun! If you're looking for a relatively sane, fairly easy-going, independent woman with a sense of humor and an appreciation of thoughtfulness, romance and drama-free companionship, then let's see what happens. I LOVE to travel and was fortunate to have a previous job that allowed me to do that. I enjoy everything from day trips to cruises. However, I can also be happy at home just hanging out. I read recently that a woman needs three things: attention, affection and appreciation. I believe that's very true for women AND men.
All relationships start out as casual and some stay that way. I'm interested in compatible companionship but prefer a man who has a life, friends and interests of his own. Common ground is important, but so is space. I'm not commitment-phobic, just cautious. As the song says:" I'm not talkin' 'bout movin' in, and I don't want to change your life, but there's a warm wind blowin' the stars around, and I'd really love to see you tonight."
I look forward to your message!
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
If we can't fly to Rome, Madrid or some exotic private island, how about a location conducive to conversation.
