It's about time I update this, I haven't really had much reason to use this up until now. I still don't have much reason to use it, though, I will be checking this more than I was before.
For those of you that don't pay too much attention, my name is Raegan. It's supposed to mean Inspiration. I, personally, feel like I live up to my name. I hope to ispire others as well as my own self. My goal in life is to work in and own a salon and have a family of my own.
Cosmetology has, for the most part, always been something I've wanted to do with my life. In my opinion it's an art of its own. Making people feel good about themselves and getting paid for it? Sounds good to me. The world of cosmetology is so diverse, that's the way I want things in my life to be. I try not to limit myself on things that can alter and/or influence my perception on life.
I've definitely lived more than my fair share of life, negative as well as positive. I try my hardest to make any negativity positive. If there is a lesson to be learned from it, I will find it. The bad things in life can bring out the good; Make you appreciate things more, have an altered perspective that you once lacked before, even influence you to do better. It can either make you or break you, it all depends on you in the end.
I grew up differently than most people have. Going through dramatic changes, violence, drugs, abuse, homelessness. As well as, love, triumph, and various expeditions. Ive only allowed the negative things I have gone through to improve who I am as a person rather than letting them tear me down.
I have a head on my shoulder, "level" one at that, and I'm not afraid to put it to work. I will achieve my dreams and I will be who I am supposed to be in this life. No matter what or who tries to get in my way, I will persevere. The most important lessons I have learned have came from being transgendered. Now that you've gotten to know the woman I am, are you ready for the person I am?
