Hello! A true redhead with a keen sense of humor. Looking for someone with whom I can share hopes, dreams, encouragement, and joys. I have been employed at the same place for 25 years and love what I do. I have recently taken on another department at my facility, doubling the number of people I supervise, I am being stretched but loving the challenge at the same time. I enjoy word play and marvel at the wonders and ironies in life. I've been working on my weight and still have a ways to go. My friends tell me I look great, but then thats why I call them friends, lol. Seriously, I live a healthy lifestyle but am not fanatical...there are still times I must have that chocolate milkshake! I enjoy and can be competitive at cards and board games. Right now I have an opening for a good golf partner/teacher as I am still learning the game. I have been involved in the Relay for Life (American Cancer Society) for my facility; like many of us, I have lost too many friends and relatives to cancer! Currently, my team is organizing a motorcycle rally, July, as a fundraiser, although I am not a biker, I would love to see you there!
Like many in this day and age, I am taking care of my 86 year old mother. She and my daughter live with me in the same household. It is a good arrangement for us at this time, but I long for the day I begin a new life with a devoted partner creating our own home.
I have eclectic tastes in movies from the Shawshank Redemption to Airplane. I am a country gal at heart and sometimes long for the wide open spaces... and at other times wish to be wined and dined. I hope my fella is as comfortable in his blue jeans firing up the BBQ as he is sharing an intimate candlelite dinner with his redhead. I love little surprises and the dips and curves in life's journies which keep it from becoming routine or boring. Right now I am loving George Strait, Josh Turner and Dirks Bentley...but I also like Nora Jones, blues, jazz and classical. Will you laugh with me? Let's not dwell on the past except for its lessons and embrace each other and the future.

First Date
The first date will come after emails and phone calls...but always will still have that nervousness of meeting 'him' for the first time. I am always ready for a cup of good coffee and conversation, but wouldn't mind a round of golf or a casual activity. If I don't turn out to be your cup of tea...please tell me (as diplomatically as possible, of course, lol). I am all for honesty. I have had a few 'wonderful' first dates, and maybe you have, too...where the other tells you how wonderful you are...and for some reason you never hear from nor see them again. It hurts...especially when they had built your hopes up. If I want to see you again, believe me, you will know!
