About Me
My work makes it easy for me to connect with many people. I am a one man woman, always have been, always will be. Not a fan of serial dating, but men seem disinclined to even make the effort. Like the lotto folks say, you can't win if you don't play.
I am looking for someone who connects with me , someone who likes sports but also enjoys museums and the occasional play. want someone who is young at heart, fit but not fantatical - a few tats is ok, a mural, you should have something pretty damm interesting to say. Closer is better but again if it's in the stars......
I just want to meet a decent, fun loving passionate man. I believe chemistry is important initially, but you have to have something else to keep the spark lit. I am looking for a man who likes the outdoors, who knows who he is and while we all have our baggage, he has his properly stored. I know I have mine right where it needs to be.(we all have it, just depends on how we handle it) I like a man who can make me laugh but also intrigue me with his thoughts.
So, about me. I am a pretty independent woman with a 20 year old son who is really something else. I enjoy most sports, love the Giants, and the CAL Bears as I am an alumni. I find college football far more interesting than pro these days. Going to the All Star game in July 2010 was one of the best vacations ever.
Love to go on long bike rides along all the trails in the area. One of these days, I am going to tackle Mt. Diablo.
I am motivated to help people probably why I'm in Social Work...the ultimate it takes a village in raising kids. It’s time to move in another direction which is Life Coaching and hopefully some motivational speaking. I enjoy people, can connect easily with just about anyone and love to make people laugh and help them realize that they can achieve anything they truly desire.
I try to not take life too seriously and have at times a wicked sense of humor. My friends would say I am strong, willful at times, but always ready to help and can be quite spontaneous and comical at times. I enjoy someone who can banter in a good natured way and is quick witted as well. I am never mean spirited and have no problem poking fun at myself. I am a passionate person about many things and would like to be about the man in my life...I do expect the same from him and it can be quite magical. I am honest and pretty straight forward; some can handle it, some not so much.
As for music, I listen to it a majority of the day. I love Pandora and have it going on the computer or use my iPod. I love KFOG but also have classical stations on my pre-sets. I leave my radio on all night with the soothing sounds of classical music. I'd have to say Santana is one of my all time favorites; his music lifts your spirit and soothes your soul and is very sensuous music.
I enjoy the movies but don’t get to them as much as possible. Thank goodness for DVD’s. Don’t watch a ton of TV, but favorites are CSI, How I met your mother, Brain Games, Deadliest Catch: the History channel and Discovery always have good stuff.

First Date
Well, first date would be coffee, so that we could both decide if there is enough there to continue from there. But if all goes well, I think dinner overlooking the water is always nice. Walking along the beach or anywhere that we could chat and get to know each other. A glass of wine, some chocolate and dancing under the stars.
