I love being by the water during the warmer months, whether that's enjoying a great lunch or dinner on the waterfront here in Portsmouth, lounging at the beach, or heading to a lake. I'm definitely a foodie, and I love anything crafted with creativity, whether it's fantastic fine-dining or the wonderfully creative brunch and dinner selections at places like Street.
I've finally finished rehab'ing a rotator-cuff injury, so I can get back out mountain biking and snow boarding. With the cooler weather, hiking is definitely a good option now, too!
I do have my techy-geeky side, but it mostly shows up when I'm recording and mixing music or video for the bands I work with. I love to play guitar and bass, and I really do need to put together an open-mic set one of these weekends and just get out there and play. But for now I'm just enjoying practicing and getting better as a musician.
While I do root for the local sports teams (Pats the most,) I'm not the type to get morose if I miss a game. I may start spouting stats around other fans, but I won't subject you to it or expect you to remember any of it!
I should also warn you that I am a bit of a Disney nut, both the movies and the parks. My most recent trip was in October to Disneyland (my first trip there!) as part of a work trip, and it was as fantastic as I could have hoped for. You can see my picture with my sister at the Halloween Party. I'm not expecting everyone to necessarily appreciate it, but it's something you'd have to put up with around me.
Other than that, I think I'm fairly normal, and I'm looking for the same. We've all got quirks, and I'm looking for someone whose quirks I find as adorable as they do mine!
I'm coming around to the conventional wisdom that the first meeting isn't really a date - it's just a chance to meet up and see if we're interested in a date. So for that, coffee or a walk around town is perfect.
