I'm half Black and half Mexican. I love to have fun and spend time with my family and friends. I work a LOT, but I make it a point to make my free time count. I truly believe in finding and maintaining personal balance (professional-spiritual-emotional-financial). I'm definitely goal and career driven, but I still know how to chill and have fun! I can be really silly at times (almost quirky) and serious when I need to be.
Things I can't stand - Arrogance, Flakes and Drama ...because life is hard enough and too short...you know?
Things I’m into: dancing (this is my favorite thing in the world…salsa, cumbia, bachata, hip-hop, 80’s, and yes…even a little country…basically anything that gets me moving on the dance floor...when time allows I try to go 1-3 times a week), wine tasting, traveling, Day Spa, playing pool, golf, tennis, bowling, working out outdoors or gym…being active, going to the movies, shopping…and open to new things like balloon ride in wine country, sky diving, …you tell me?
I’m really just looking to laugh and enjoy an interesting/fun person’s company…
I don't know that I have a "type", since none of the people I've dated in recent years fit the same bill...they've had unique qualities that interested me...compatability is the most important thing to me, but again that means sharing some common interests and being able to genuinely have fun together. I'm not lonely and I don't NEED a boyfriend or someone, but I'm definitely open to meeting new people, experiencing new things and seeing what happens. My motto is no expectations - you have everything to gain and nothing to lose. Horrible dates happen (I've had my share...LOL) not everyone is going to be "mr right" or even "mr right now" (and vice versa)...you may have to suffer through an hour or two but you get over it and move on to the next one. Some dates are just fun and maybe just ok...and that's cool. I think some people tend to get really disappointed when it doesn't work out or turn out as they expected.
I will say this it would be a HUGE plus ??if you were Hispanic, spoke Spanish and could dance the hell out of Cumbia AND Bachata. Ideally I am physically attracted to guys that somewhat closely resemble Adam Rodriguez (CSI Miami), Anthony "Romeo" Santos (from Aventura)...but again compatability is much more important than just looks...you have to bring SOMEthing to the table...LOL. Please be LOCAL!
An ideal first date would be meeting up for coffee, dinner and/or drinks. Keep it somewhat short and simple and low pressure. To me its just a chance to see if there is some chemistry or at least a curiosity to know more about the other person.
