I'm not your typical Northern California woman. I'd rather spend a Sunday morning reading rather than hiking (although I do own hiking shoes) or spend an evening at the theatre instead of out clubbing (but can get my groove on too!)
It might surpise you to know, that although I appear to be very cosmopolitian, I once competed as a barrel racer! Men have called me, "witty," "optimistic," and "charming." Friends trust me to keep thier secrets.
I am looking for someone wonderful. I am open to many possibilities about the package in which he is wrapped. Kindness, intelligence and strength of character are traits I admire.
Update: I thought it was about time for a bit of an update to my profile. Like most of us, I'm a work in progress. I guess living in the Bay Area has rubbed off on me and I've starting living a much more active lifestyle. So I'm out every morning walking and jogging and spending several nights a week working out. I might even be interested in putting those hiking shoes to good use. I've made it a lifestyle change along with a healthy diet, but certainly not a fanatic about it. So if you're accepting and supportive of someone who is still evolving and might even like to see someone blossoming before them, drop me a line.

First Date
My ideal first date would involve great conversation. The setting is not as important as the oppotunity to talk and get to know one another. Be it an elegant dinner, or just going for a walk in a pretty setting. I would also be up for the "silly" dates like minature golf (or real golf), bowling or going to the fair or circus, too. I'm not a big fan of the "coffee date."
