About Me
I am 64 yrs young, tall, slim, divorced (30 yrs ago), clinical psychologist, White/Jewish/Male, non-religious with East Coast values (NYC) and no children. Living by myself now in Brentwood, Los Angeles, CA. Tired of POF.
Cute, kind, smart, sensitive liberal and funny. Looking for my special best friend, lover, life partner, the someone who gets me and connects; a bright down to earth Los Angeles Westsider (preferably) with depth, not width. Genuine, real and authentic, I like kids, animals, most people, dry humor (some say sick), science, TV and radio, photography, nature, drums, beauty, the world situation (politics), gadgets and Google. Like to share, talk and to listen.
I'm not interested in sports, watching or playing; reality TV (or rap or country music). Not always politically correct. Not a player and am not interested in being tattooed. I don't ride a motorcycle, sorry. I'm grounded and as secure as I'm going to be although there is always room for improvement. I don't travel well but have baggage.
Cannot eat or drink. (or swallow) I have been seriously ill but, I'm better now. I still have some medical issues that we should talk about,(usually, they are the deal breakers - if you need an out). I survived throat cancer, heart and lung diseases all at once; hip arthritis now.
I want to share my life with someone very unique, but ordinary, special and loving because I still have a lot to give (and get). Most of the things that I loved to do are no longer available to me due to my illnesses and apparently a relationship with a woman may be more difficult to find than ever before.
I don't go to dinners or luncheons anymore because I feed myself through a tube. I live on Ensure Plus, water and coffee (and an occasional Ensure Margarita). Can't take long walks because I have trouble catching my breath and walking. (I stroll.)
