About Me
First off, I chose a TERRIBLE title as my screen name. I used to haul produce to the Rouge Valley and thought it was original. BIG MISTAKE!!! Lol
My children take up most of my time when I am not at work. Going for a good ride on a sunny day can make me feel,..... right I guess. I volunteered for a fire department, as an engineer and firefighter for 15 years, before moving up here. Some people say I work to hard. I work hard to show my kids what a man is supposed to do and provide them with some things they will need in life. On my free weekends, I like to allow myself some "me time." I can be sarcastic and quick witted, my friends say. I like a good cigar when the feeling hits me. I guess I like classic rock (mostly), bluegrass, & some pop. I moved to the Medford area to be closer to my girls.
One never knows what's right around the corner. I want to meet a woman that likes conversation. I don't mean one that talks a lot. I mean someone that as we talk, we both find the subject interesting, even if it really isn't that important. If interests are sparked by a date or two, something may just become that unexpected thing. If not, then I hope to be able to call you a friend.
I believe I'm somewhat an old fashioned fella. I will open doors for women & anybody else, nearby. I don't hold hands on a first date, unless you make the first move. And by all means, I will pay for the date. Wether it be coffee, drinks or dinner. I can't believe that some women expect that they might have to do what is expected of the guy, on a date.

First Date
Coffee or a beer is ok, but I prefer dinner for sure. I like to see what she might or might not order. "I'll just have a salad" doesn't slide. Mabey dinner & dessert at some place that has a nice selection of pies. Or skip the pie and find a nice pub, not some place that's to noisy, or over the top, but a nice place to sip a "brew-pop" and talk.
