This might sound old-fashioned, but I really don't like to text. A "good morning" or "On my way" types are fine, but I really don't like to have long conversations. What I would love, is for a man to actually pick up the phone, dial my number, talk, and get to know me. Or, even better, call me and ask me on a date. I am not glued to my phone and I want to find the man who wants to get to know me, not the man who is a good texter. Why is asking a woman on a date so foreign to men??? When did guys start to enjoy texting instead of going on a date? As a non-texter, it drives me nuts. Guys? What's the deal with that?
My day in a nutshell: I work five days a week. After work I take one of my two kids to practice and pick them up later in the evening. Then we eat dinner - I hate to cook so usually fast food, pizza, spaghetti, or we eat out. I also have an online shop where I make things from either concrete or I sew. After we eat, the kids go off and do their homework and I am usually sewing making orders. I am often up until midnight. We don't have cable as we don't watch very much tv. My life is pretty simple, but I am pretty happy.
I have my kids 100% of the time. They are awesome kids and until they are old enough to move out, they are a huge part of my life. Would be nice to find the right guy who would be a great role model for them and show them what a decent, strong, kind, smart man is. A man who treats their mother right. :)
I work as a legal secretary for a non-profit law firm that helps low income people. If you think you are superior to those who have less, we would not be a good match. If you are a right-wing religious person, again, we might not be a good match.
I can be a bit of a homebody and I love to read. I listen to mainly country and classic rock. I am pretty outdoorsy, like skiing, going to concerts, hiking, and going for walks. For movies, I like comedies, Godzilla, westerns, and chick flicks. Just no scary movies for me as I am a huge chicken. Had to sleep with my light on for a week after watching The Sixth Sense, if that gives you any idea. ;)
I love horses and my dream would be to one day move to a place with property and have a horse.
I think there should only be three seasons: Ski, Hockey, and Baseball. I am a diehard fan of my Phillies and the Red Wings and have been since 1978.
I am NOT 420 friendly - I hate being around people who are stoned so please don't write me trying to say how great it is. (I get a lot of those e-mails....) You won't change my mind. Also, I am not a big drinker. Maybe one or two beers a months, but either way, I could take or leave it. I
One more thing - I am a legal secretary, but I cannot and will not give legal advice. Please do not write me asking about a good attorney for your divorce or how to get out of paying support. That is so unattractive an such a turnoff. Just saying.
