I am pretty outdoorsy. I like skiing, going to concerts, hiking, and even going for walks in my neighborhood. I rarely watch TV - we don't even have cable. I read a lot and am trying to teach myself German and Russian. I have a business where I make things from logs and concrete and I spend a lot of time in my garage. Yes, boys, I use power tools. ;) I am often up until after midnight working on orders, packaging orders, sewing something, or making something. I am trying to get my business going and it is a lot of work. But, hopefully all this hard work will pay off in the long run.
I think there should only be three seasons: Ski, Hockey, and Baseball. I am a diehard fan of my Phillies and the Red Wings and have been since 1978.
I mainly listen to country, classic rock, and some pop. For movies, I like comedies, Godzilla, westerns, and chick flicks. Just no scary movies for me as I am a huge chicken. Had to sleep with my light on for a week after watching The Sixth Sense, if that gives you any idea. ;)
I don't smoke and NOT 420 friendly. ***Yes, I do have ONE picture of me drinking out of a pitcher of beer. With that said, there were no cups, it was Oktoberfest, and I was having fun for one night without my kids (even took a taxi). But, I don't drink very often, maybe one beer a month. I have never been a big drinker and could take it or leave it. As for drugs - I don't do any and don't want to date anyone who does. I hate having a conversation with a guy who is stoned only to talk the next day and they have no recollection of the conversation. Makes the drugged person look like an idiot and so not the guy for me. I think drugs are ridiculous and I can't be any more clear that I don't do them and WON'T date someone who does. Please stop writing me of the "wonderful" benefits of being stoned and doing drugs. It only makes you look more ridiculous and a total turnoff.
I love horses and my dream would be to one day move to a place with property and have a horse.
I love the cold and the snow. If you don't ski, but can hang out at a ski resort and then relax and have a drink, that works for me. P.S. I don't want to teach you how to ski. I would end up putting you in ski school as I can't stand being on the bunny hill. A lot of you ask me to teach you - it ain't gonna happen. (Ok, I don't really say "ain't", but it just works there.) But, I will meet up with you later. I spent two days on the bunny hill teaching my son and it was a long two days. Other than that, well, that is what ski school is for. :)
