So I want to say how I hate having to write in this thing and it's so hard to figure out what I am going to say, but really, I know who I am and what I don't want. So here goes.
I am passionate about the work I do. I lead a team of people who work to help people struggling with issues around finances, abuse, sexual assault, harassment, discrimination, oppression, etc. There is a lot going on with my job all the time and most of the time I love it. I am very successful in my position and career.
I went to university for criminology and loved it. I will be going back to school for my masters. I value intelligence and get a long with people who recognize their own and others' intelligence and value it. I enjoy talking about politics, debating, challenging and being challenged and otherwise just figuring out what the meaning of life is! :p
I am deep as people would say. I analyze things a lot. But I think I have managed to stay humble and not annoying about it... I think.
Ignorance in all forms is a complete turn off and I will not waste my time with someone who is ignorant.
Oh I sound so serious and yes I can be but I also love to have fun, enjoy and appreciate life. I love music, all different kinds. I can listen to trashy pop music, but have so much more of an appreciation for talent than show! If you can't name at least one jazz artist we probably shouldn't bother wasting each others time! But if you are into erykah badu and santogold then maybe we could get along ;)
I love to dance and will spend all night on the dance floor if the tunes are bumping.
I love yoga. And swimming. And a bunch of other stuff too.
