About Me
"A friend is someone that knows the song of your heart and can sing it back to you when you have forgotten the words" (Bernard Metzler). Ultimately, I'm looking for a soul mate that wants to learn my song -- I'll learn yours, I promise.
I'm happy and make a good living. I want to share my life with someone that is also happy, likes to laugh (especially at themselves), cherishes commitment, expects/returns loyalty, and above all is honest with herself, and me. I'm excited to meet some good people on here. Friendship is not at all out of the question -- it's welcomed. Obviously, physical attraction to one another is important. I've tried to provide what few pictures I have to help portray what I look like; however, I'm not positive they do, nor probably do yours. To me, beauty can't be completely captured by a photograph because there is so much more that affects it such as how one carries themselves, values, sense of humor, and treatment of others.
At heart, I'm a romantic. I'll often buy you flowers (or pick them from the neighbor's yard), write an occasional love poem, or surprise you with the dress you pointed out, but wouldn't buy for yourself. I like wet kisses, holding hands, playing footsies under the table, tickling, lying on a blanket staring at the stars, cooking meals together, candle-lit rooms, wood burning fireplaces, and flannel sheets during the winter. I believe in slowing down and living a simpler life. We tend to get excited about a destination, but there's a lot of fun to be had during the journey there. I believe a simple trip to the grocery store can be romantic.
I grew up in the small lumber town located along the coastal redwoods of Northern California. I enjoy exploring creeks, rivers, mountains, beaches, riding quads, sitting around a campfire telling stories, window shopping downtowns/old towns, wineries, and historical places of interest. I love attending a great outdoor concert or a good ballgame (garlic fries are a must - I'll bring mints). Also, I'm learning to Country Western, Salsa, and West Coast Swing dance -- I need a dance partner!
I'm a veteran of the United States Army's 101st Airborne Infantry Division. I earned a BS from Calpoly (San Luis Obispo), and I completed an Executive Management course at Saint Mary's College in Moraga. I'm employed as a Senior Sales Account Executive.

I wouldn't want it to involve a chain restaurant or movie. It may involve coffee, hot cocoa, ice cream, wine, cold beer, a walk, and/or a Barrel of Monkeys (jk). Hopefully it involves a long drawn-out moment where neither of us wants to say good night, but do.
