Who I am...
I'm a little shy at first. It takes me a bit to open up and feel comfortable but, with the right company, my inner extrovert has been know to surface. I'm a Christian girl and its important to me to find a man that has a relationship with God. I'm really laid back and kind of silly sometimes. It's essential to find some humor in life or things get boring. I love to laugh and can appreciate a guy with a sense of humor even more. I’m forever the optimist. I try to remember things could always be worse than they are. I'm easily amused so even if your jokes are corny, chances are they'll be funny to me! :) I like to be surprised and I enjoy spontaneous people. Don't get me wrong, I like to plan some things out but other times its fun to just get up and go where the road takes you! I'd like to think of myself as having an adventurous spirit. I'll try almost anything at least once. Jumping off a 25-30 ft cliff into the Guadalupe river is probably one of the most terrifying things I've ever done but it was an amazing rush! It's not sky diving, I know, but for me it was pretty dang scary!
What I like...
I'm an outdoors kind of girl. Camping by the river and hiking through Lost Maples State Park are two of my favorite things to do. I also enjoy long strolls through the park, watching an outdoor movie or just gazing at the stars. I love nature and would love to go hiking in the mountains somewhere in Colorado. If I could take a cruise anywhere it would probably be to Alaska, because its beautiful and almost untouched by man. I like watching the Discovery Channel(because Shark Week is AWESOME), NatGeo, Biography Channel, SyFy(Ghost Hunters gives me goosebumps!), Chiller, and scary movies(even if I have to sleep with the light on later.) I enjoy music, almost all kinds, with the exception of tejano, gangster rap and hardcore heavy metal. I have an appreciation for art and a good glass of wine too. I wouldn't say I'm an art aficionado or a wine connoisseur but I know what I like. And yes, I enjoy a good beer every now and again too!
Who I'd like to meet...
A God fearing man who is kindhearted, considerate and generous...the kind of person who shows compassion for other people and who is not overly critical or judgmental either, a true gentleman. In a relationship, he would not be afraid to show affection and would treat the woman he loved with respect and kindness. If he says, "I love you", he means it. In a disagreement, winning the argument would not be his top priority. Love is saying "I feel differently" instead of saying "You're wrong". He would know that there is a difference between a man who spends money on the woman he loves, and a man who actually invests in her...a man who views her as property, and a man who views her properly...a man who just lusts after her, and a man who truly loves her...a man who believes he is God's gift to women, and a man who remembers a woman was God's gift to man. Relationships shouldn't just be 50/50. If I'm willing to give 100%, I'd appreciate the same in return. Just be willing to get to know each other as friends first before committing into a serious relationship. If we don't click, at least we'll possibly make a friend out of the deal.
