About me: I am in my second year of grad school in medical research. But I don't "live for the job", I have plenty of other hobbies (I love running, hip hop and salsa), and I am lucky to have great friends. I grew up in Germany and most of my family still lives back there. I love San Diego, but I would say I'm not your typical California girl, I consider myself not as shallow as most girls here, have had no plastic surgery, prefer sneakers over high heels, and hate reality shows).
What I am looking for: I am looking for somebody who is educated, kind, empathetic, smart, adventurous, and willing to have deep conversations with me, someone who isn’t afraid to invest into the relationship (because I will), and who will devote time to this (I am a grad student, so I know what it means to be busy, but I always manage to make time for the things that are important to me.) Humble people impress me, and I tend to get annoyed by arrogance, but a healthy self esteem is important. Finally, you should be looking for somebody “equal”, not a trophy girlfriend, but a lover+best friend at the same time.
