About Me
I'm a 32 year old music fan who loves nothing more than a gig with a little known band in a dingy pub with a nice pint or glass of red. Over the last six months or so I've taken to running, and despite trying to convince myself otherwise, I think I can now class myself as a runner (or 'one of them' as I used to call them!). I'm aiming to run in the Warwick half marathon this spring, if I can rid myself of a nagging injury in time!
I love travelling, and have been to some great places - Krakow, Barcelona and Reykjavik. I've not long come back from Iceland and had a fantastic time backpacking around the country. My highlight was a firework show at Jokulsarlon, a glacier lake. They had candles on the icebergs and it was really pretty. It was pretty good fun ski-dooing on the glacier too! I enjoy learning languages, and have picked up a bit of French, Spanish and Polish through holidays and studying. Icelandic was a lot tougher!
I love comedy and like think I've got a pretty good sense of humour, although making myself laugh probably doesn't count! I'm not offended easily, and will make jokes about almost anything (especially myself) if I think it will get a laugh. Someone who isn't easily shocked/offended is kind of a must. Even better would be someone who'd join in!
Basically I think I'm looking for a quirky, energetic music lover who enjoys a bit of travel and appreciates other cultures. If you're slightly nuts then so much the better!

Maybe a romantic walk at sunset, atop the city walls where we could hold hands and throw olives at the poor :P
An ideal first date would probably involve going for a quiet couple of drinks somewhere, and then on to see some little known bands in a tiny venue somewhere. Or perhaps to a comedy club for a bit of stand-up?
