One of my very good friend told me that I should do this. Since she is one of the smartest & genuine friend that I have, I'm going to trust her instinct. =)
Anyway, if you can argue with me that a movie that I disliked is actually one of YOUR favorite movies, then you've caught my attention!

I enjoy movies, sports, hiking, napping, pets, traveling, writing, art, history, and sharing an interesting conversation with anybody. Somebody who is truly themselves and doesn't try act the norm. Like all of my good friends, if you can make me feel comfortable by being myself, then I know that you are truly a special person.
Life is a never-ending ride; therefore, my goal in life is to continue learning new things by reading, writing, traveling and continuing to meet new people. You never know what important & interesting knowledge you'll learn from somebody or from their culture.

A good and first time impression is very important, but being yourself is more crucial. It's a time to start a one-one conversation and within a couple of minutes, you'll know exactly if you're compatible or not. I would begin a 1st date by going somewhere where the two of us would enjoy going. Such as a favorite coffee shop, or a dog park, a museum, or a sporting event. These are places that we can enjoy our interests and start an intelligent conversation.
