Let's try friends first, please!!! I've learned my lesson. Always start off as friends. That way you get to know what I'm really like and vice versa before anything too serious occurs. And this is not a game or a ploy. I have female friends that will back up my sincerity on this one. And if we're not right for each other romantically, then we have this new, valuable person in our lives that may be around for the rest of our lives. If we are right for each other, then prepare to be amazed. I do definitely take all my relationships (friends, dating, family, etc) very seriously.
So what am I looking for in that woman I'm searching for? She's pretty, fun but doesn't have to work at it to be so, intelligent, HONEST and open, passionate about something and PATIENT. A little crazy (adventuresome) is welcome and even appreciated. But lay down in the middle of the freeway during rush hour crazy is not my style. If you feel like you need to yell at people in order to get them to understand you, Imma have to charge you $50/hour whenever we hang out. But pulling over halfway between Vegas and L.A. and throwing down a small tent so we can spend a night together in the desert crazy - you might just be the one. Now maybe I should say this - you don't have to be an outdoor enthusiast or anything. I've done stuff like that but don't often go camping anymore. I'm just saying that if you're willing to try new things every once in a while, that helps. I am too.
Oh, also it would be great if we could maybe even have one child. I'm not going to say that's a must have but it would be incredibly nice. Among the many things I do, I also work with children. I've been reminded of how I am a natural with kids, even when they're being difficult. And they always love me because children can almost always see what lies beneath, you know?
Some truths about me: I'm 5'10 barefoot first thing in the morning. I work out daily and keep myself in extremely good shape. If I tell you I'm not dating anyone, I'm not. If I am, I'll be honest about it so you can tell me to piss off if you don't want to be friends. I'm something of an entrepreneur & make decent money from my other pursuits but I actually keep a job too. I'm from the Midwest so I like to open doors & walk between a woman & traffic. I'm a natural leader though, so I have to work sometimes at letting others walk in front of me. Oh & I'm a writer so I'm big on good communication. All that being said, I try to keep it low drama & just generate happiness in other people. Just makes sense, doesn't it?
Wow, it's like we got halfway through the first conversation, huh? So what's next?
We'll do something where I can sit down, look into your eyes and bask in the brilliance, that portal that leads to your soul. Too much? LOL Aiight, how about we take some fruit, barbecue (I'm from Kansas City) and drinks to the beach. We can sit and talk for a short lunch. That sounds perfect.
