About Me
I've tried this before, but I lived in a much smaller area then. I didn't have any luck, so my expectations are low, but you never know. It's free, so why not? I think these sites do a poor job of explaining what you're looking for. I seems like once we hit 30, the scope of what we are willing to accept narrows. I've marked that I don't want kids, but I'm not completely opposed to someone that has a kid. It'd just have to be the right situation, preferably a young child that I can build a bond with at a young age, as opposed to an older kid that's wondering if this dude is banging their mom or not, lol.
I've worked in IT for about 15yrs and I was a buyer for a music distributor before that. I enjoy my work and it is important to me, but I'm not a workaholic. I like, doing and seeing, new things. I try to find a positive in every experience and enjoy growing through those experiences.
I like golfing and playing tennis, although I haven't had the chance to do either the last 2 summers. I have a boat in Port Clinton. It needs some minor work, but I'm hoping to have it ready for summer 2010. Now that I live in Cleveland, I'd like to get into fishing in the rivers, but there's a learning curve there and I don't have any one with experience to hang out with. I have a license to operate boats up to 100-tons commercially, but rarely get to do that for anymore.
I like to cook and I'd like to learn more about it, but I probably suck at it. What I don't like doing is writing these stupid profiles... I like going on little road-trips on the weekends. I really do like experiencing new things, so I'm easily content doing whatever.

First Date
It's been so long since I've been on a real first date, I'm not sure I know what to expect. I usually end up meeting girls through my friends and already know them, so I haven't had too many first dates with girls I didn't already know. I'm thinking dinner, meeting for a coffee and BS'ing or something that'll be a little quiet so we can talk. Dinner always gives me that paranoid "I hope this food isn't showing in my teeth" feeling though, lol. I'm easy, anything is fine with me. Maybe a baseball game if it was in season. I think movies aren't the best idea for a first meeting though.
