Sorry so long, but these are the basics...
Allllllright, herrre we gooo... My name is Michael, but I go by Jake (an abbreviation of my last name). I'll start by saying that my sense of humor easily has to be one of my most best-est qualities. A bit witty, usually corny, though sometimes sardonic. Oh, I's gots jokes... And quotes, I love a good quote... "Don't act, like you're not impressed...". :-) I do believe honesty is the most important thing in any relationship. And yes, I practice what I preach. I am a well grounded person, with an open mind. I have strong morals with lots of loyalty. And eventhough, all this seems very thorough... I'm laid back, and easily outgoing. I don't like hurting anyone in any way. I do my best not to judge, but yet still to being aware. Music, by far, is my most joyful of pastimes. I absolutely, positively, truly do listen to everything. Everything from Classical to Metal, any year, every genre, all languages. Though, I will say Death-Metal and Opera are my least favorite. Oldies and Inspirational is probably my most favorite ( I love me some Delta Blues, too). I've always said "I can at least find one song, by any Artist in the world. That I can enjoy listening to.". A lil shout out; I'm an avid WWOZ(.org) listener (The ultimate New Orleans eclectic listener music staion). I'm all about the B-sides baby. It all depends on the mood, right.?. I'm all about the little things. And I'm usually looking at the big picture, with a glass half full. I enjoy anything and everything in nature. Especially the rain. Yes, my Faith is Christian. Although, I'm more spiritual than religious. And, I find the Native American's "point of view" seem to have a great understanding, how "Everything's a circle". But basically... One God, and Jesus is real. I am always up for learning new things. I do think of myself, more of an old school/old soul type of guy. I practice chivalry as much as possible. I love to kill people with kindness. I'm constantly trying my best to find, and stay on the path of enlightenment. Maybe I am an old soul, but at least I've got one (and/or some), Right.?. I have a huge heart, and love making people smile and laugh. And, I'm pretty darn good at it too (if I do say so myself)(but so does everyone else too). :-) Please know... That I don't expect anything from anyone, that I'm not willing or able to give before hand and in return.
Now... If I could find a woman who wants some the same things I want... One who can show me new things in life, and make me a better person. That'd be mighty nice... She's affectionate and intelligent. She'll be strong-minded, strong-willed, and yet somehow still soft-hearted. A Lady.. One who has some of them old fashion values, too. She has respect for herself and expects to be treated accordingly. Her relationship and connection with God is huge. Music is diffidently tops on her list. And, one who doesn't like tobacco ("She tasted like cigarettes, Lieutenant Dan..."). Now, let's not get it twisted... She still knows how to have a goodtime. Not too goodieshoe-ish. Age probably wont be problem, but height might (atleast five-eight or higher) . Now, "there is always an exception to the rule". Ya know.?.

First Date
This diffently depends on who she is and what she enjoys. I'm all about improv-ing. I also, like to see what I've got up my sleeve. I believe I truly can make or find fun anywhere at anytime. And usually be very unique all about it. I've seen and enjoy many classic movies. I have also watched & noted a many of chick flicks. I can easily make something out of nothing. Jus sayin... :-)
