My name is as good of a place to start as any: it's Máté, and I hail from Fairfax (among other places not in the vicinity). I graduated from college four years ago (although a master's is visible on the horizon), and now a full-time job takes up most of the week, while seeking out a little unpredictability, enlightenment (the emotional or intellectual kind), or just some sea water and a clear blue sky comprise a good weekend.
Anything tech has always been my passion - my major and career have been in computer science, you will hear things about your car or the hardware of a game console you may have owned until any insomnia you possibly had is decisively cured, and naturally, a movie involving computers to any degree entails some suffering, but a catchy soundtrack and cinematic significance will give it a pass (Hackers).
So what other interests are company for the inner nerd? Fisticuffs or jiu-jitsu, making sure my C doesn't get rusty, loud places with good beer (for which I'm still acquiring a taste), reminiscing, bro time and SSMB: Melee, and enjoying a late night drive unpunctuated by red lights, I can be found doing any day of the week. I take my health and physical fitness seriously - I train MMA and lift most days of the week, and try to catch a few hours on my bike when the weather cooperates on a Saturday morning. However, whole foods/district of pi pizza, Indian food, and an occasional Belgian ale fuel this lifestyle; if one takes care of themselves, it's to enjoy life's finer aspects, not pretend they don't exist.
Who am I looking for? What I do and don't find attractive I won't say, because there are too many exceptions to that, and you're probably one of them. Genuineness, appreciation for good food, a way with words, respect for your own mind and body, and a positive attitude all count.
Well, that's a wrap on my end - your turn now.
tangent-based discussions (all great ones are, I've been told), King's Dominion, long/fast drive, the sun is up there for a reason
