I'm a paradox. Like if you spliced Gordon Gekko from "Wall Street," Johnny Utah from "Point Break" and... Stoney from "Encino Man." I've been in Manhattan for 4 years now. Good times, but I have yet to join the cult of weirdos who say this is the only place they'd ever live.
As for a world view, I see us as spiritual beings living an earthly existence and I try to remind myself of that. I like others who can see past the many illusions that surround us. With that in mind, I laugh at everything including myself and I try not to take anything too seriously. As for the superficial, I'm 6ft and pretty muscular/athletic compared to most. Now do you want to dance, or do you want to dance?

First Date
Let's see... I suppose the standard for a first date with someone you don't already know would be the good ol' fashioned "Let's meet for drinks!" If that goes well then the possibilities are many! I've always thought checking out museums, gallery openings and going to comedy and jazz shows make for good environments to get know someone.
