About Me
I graduated from Capital University in Columbus but my hometown is in Cleveland. I'm up north again as I am working on my Master's degree in Art Therapy and Counseling at Ursuline College. My hobbies include being artsy; Anything from painting to taking photographs. It's ok if you're not into that, just be understanding that I am.
My goals/aspirations would be to become an Art Therapist, travel, and just help people in general. I have an interest in visiting Australia because there are some Art Therapy schools there and I think it would be an amazing place to learn from and travel to!
What makes me unique? I guess what makes me unique, not just that my name spells amen backwards but I would rather know my life is complete when I make one person smile rather than taking a million dollar gift, any day. That sounds so cheesy I know but if you really knew me, you know it'd be true.
In college, over the 2010-2011 Winter Break I went on a service-learning trip in India; it was quite a trip. Over the 2012 Spring Break I traveled to Turkey. While in Turkey we had the opportunity to learn about Turkish culture, hear their stories, site see, and so much more. I love to experience and embrace new culture(s) all around me. I love to help people hence maybe why I double majored in Art Therapy and Psychology (and minored in Studio Art) at Capital University. In April 2013 I traveled to El Salvador for a service-learning trip through my graduate program, Art Therapy and Counseling master's degree at Ursuline College. We were able to utilize art therapy with children and youth on this trip as well as see a few of the sites in El Salvador.
I'm really service oriented but can also hang out and relax. I usually consider myself a hopeless romantic at times because I find sappy-ness atrractive and intriguing. Karma is something that I hold very close to me. I don't eat meat. But, not that you should judge me anyways, don't judge me by this. I don't mind being around meat, or cooking meat- it's quite simple- I just don't eat it.
My taste in music is pretty much anything, really. Lastly, I'm so sick of everyone being into looks and appearance - I'm very honest when I say personality matters most to me.

First Date
On a first date, I'm up for anything. I think it's fun to do something different and creative, but I'm still fine with a movie and dinner type of first date. Something different or creative might include going paintballing, lazer tag, skydiving, going in a hot air balloon, some type of artsy outing. (Then again, maybe some of these would be considered for a second date.) Another thing is that I would rather go dutch while on a date. I just don't think it's fair that the guy always has to pay.
