I am an active, friendly, honest, and courteous good guy. I believe in always looking for the positive and happy things in life and in people. I am so excited and optimistic about the future and about life. We all learn from our past, and we genuinely feel life’s excitements when we realize that we have abandoned the past and have forgiven others and ourselves. We then know that real love is life’s greatest excitement!
We all face life’s challenges and some are very difficult, but our challenges do help us appreciate the wonderful and marvelous things that life offers. Our aging parents, the tears and emotions of dementia and many other health challenges help us learn to cherish the time we have and to eagerly seek for and treasure all the things that make us happy, and there are many, and thank God for all of them. My dear aging mother, feeling the effects of dementia, and my very amazing dad, with his own health declining, giving of every ounce of energy that his shrinking body has to care for her is my all time and forever hero story.
I have traveled many places and I enjoy sports, outdoors, music, dancing, movies, theater, and new things. I enjoy camping and hiking. I love the mountains and the beach. I enjoy riding my mountain bike and running as often as I can. I enjoy going to the fitness gym usually three times a week. I love to play tennis and basketball. I love to go to theater performances or just sit down and watch a movie. I love to hang out with friends. I love to travel and to just go places. I travel frequently to southern Utah and Las Vegas to visit family and friends. Most of all, I really love to spend time with my four kids that I adore.
I am romantic and playful and I love to tease and flirt. I love a private romantic picnic outdoors or inside. I am very affectionate. I love to hold hands, to snuggle, to kiss. A soft caressing touch, a warm embracing hug, and flowers are all very important and I love to give often.
I am a sincere, caring, and devoted person. Life is too short to be otherwise. I am a hopeful romantic and I believe that love still works. If you are interested in fun times, great companionship, chances to do new things, then we should get to know each other. I am a gentleman and will always treat you with respect.
If you are interested, I would like to meet you for dinner or for a bagel or something so we can get to know each other. We can talk and you can tell me about your dreams, your interests, and anything you want to talk about.
One of my daughters recently surprised me with this poem.
Roses are red.
Violets are blue.
I'm truly blessed
to have a father like you.
You are my hero, Dad.
You're my secure foundation.
When I think of you, I'm filled with love
and fond appreciation.
You make me feel protected.
I'm sheltered by your care.
You're always my true friend, and Dad,
when I need you, you're always there.
You have a place of honor,
deep within my heart.
You've been my superhero, Dad,
right from the very start.
