Not to start out negative, but I'll get it all out in the first few sentences. I'm not going to answer one liners. (I really can't believe I still get these messages...well...you've been warned). Also, it you use text speak, meaning u r for you're, or w for with, or c for see (I hope you're getting the point), I'm not going to reply or even initiate contact. I mean, if you can't take the 2 seconds to ensure you're putting your best foot forward, sorry, I'm not interested.
I'm a guy, so visual is important to me. There has to be an attraction for a connection to be made. Have a recent picture of you. Sorry if sounds vain, but I'm honest to a fault.
Ladies...I realize you are inundated with mail (most from bots or pervs or jackasses) and may be virtually impossible to reply to every email...but when the occasional guy takes time to put some thought into his inital mail, it might just be worth a "thanks but no thanks"....it goes a long way.
I'm looking for a great woman to date, I want to feel the feeling when you look in to someones eyes and they light up and a smile developes across their lips. I want to feel my heart rate increase when I see you enter the room or when I see your text or name on caller ID.
(Obviously this next statement didn't make it past the "I'm a smartass" filter you have turned on....) I want to wake up with cans of Redi-Whip on the nightstand, a coil of rope at the foot of the bed, this beautiful woman lying next to me and no recollection of the previous nights activities... but you grin and nod your head and softly say "niiiiice"....(LOL)
I really appreciate a genuine smile (your smile can tell me alot about you and your personality). Laughter is certainly the best medicine! I know when to be serious, and when to take a joke. (I dish it out, I'd better be able to take it). I have a positive attitude most of the time and really don't want/need drama in my life. I can't stand liars and honesty will go a lot further with me. You've GOT to know the difference between your and you're, their, they're and there, and sell and sale and know how to use it.
I have 2 dogs so if you like dogs, you've already earned major points (who couldn't love these two boys). My children (21 & 19) live with their Mom in a suburb of Buffalo, NY. I love muscle cars, fast boats, obviously the lake, traveling (love cruising), excitement, SCUBA and have a diversified interest in music. I don't have many deal breakers except you being married and/or using drugs. One pet peeve is though, if the words "flip" and "flop" exist simultaneously in your vocabulary for purposes other than the pool, lake or beach, we're probably not going to see eye to eye on other things. Anything else, feel free to ask!
Our first date should be an opportunity to get to know each other a little more. That's why a quaint place that we can hear each other would be ideal. I like meeting for coffee or a drink only because if there is a mutual interest and attraction, we can continue the afternoon and possible the evening. If not, no hard feelings and neither person need feel obligated to stay. Ciao!
