I grew up in the small town of Scio. My parents instilled in me a very strong sense of family, community, and honesty; which are things that I hold very near to my heart. I am an extremely honest person and very passionate in everything that I do. I am currently in my first term at WOU and I am enjoying every minute of it. I love how small the campus is and my roommates are pretty awesome. I should only be at WOU for 2 years to get my secondary education degree and my English degree with a History minor. After that, I plan on getting my masters in Theater. I guess it seems like I'm a bit busy, but really I'm not.
I enjoy a lot of activities including, but not limited to, mudding, swimming, walks, piracy, music, theater, writing, road trips, laughing, etc. I have tried to become a well rounded individual and I think that I have succeeded. Everyday, I find something to be thankful for. This has helped me to see the good, even when something bad happens. I am not always the most optimistic person, though. Everyone has there moments of not understanding or not being able to see the brighter side of things.
I have been involved at Albany Civic Theater for the past 7 years; on-stage and back-stage. Theater is something that is an extremely important part of my life. I have found that a lot of people don't understand the commitment that it takes to be involved with theater. It's a make or break thing for me. Either you support me or you don't. I am hoping that when I move to WOU, I will be able to get involved at the theater there. I am also a pirate but that's a whole other conversation :)
I think that just having coffee or a simple dinner would be great. I would rather be able to talk about things then be distracted by anything fancy. I love romance but the first date should be semi-simple. Flowers, coffee or a simple dinner, talking, and ending with a kiss on the cheek.
