Hi, I'm divorced and starting over, letting go of the past and moving in a new direction. I'm very artsy and love to check out exhibits and museums. I take a camera nearly everywhere with me. I use my creative side to scrapbook the many pictures I've taken over the years of my two favorite subjects, my twin boys. I'm back in college to pursue my Masters degree in Education and hope to be teaching middle school in a couple of years. I have a Bachelors in Graphic Design. I love music and will listen to nearly anything except rap. My favorites are rock, country and oldies though. I'm a very positive person who doesn't give up on dreams and does her best to go after them. I'm pretty much an old fashioned girl looking for an old fashioned guy with new fashioned fun and style. I'm very new to TX and looking for friends too, that's where love starts anyway, isn't it? Yes, I am looking for love and a serious relationship, that's what old fashioned girls do. This new friends with benefits thing just isn't my style, it's basically a new definition of and old game, it's just sex. I'm open and honest, loyal and true. I'm a hopeless romantic and wear my heart out in the open for all to see. It's important to me to eventually meet someone who won't mind the added responsibility of fathering two boys who's father is no longer a part of their lives. So I'm looking for someone who is role model material, who will get them out playing sports and being active in their lives. They are great kids and if you win my heart than you'll easily win theirs.
What makes me different from everyone else is that I'm a truly honest and passionate. When I love I love deeply and devote myself body and soul to that man. I have deep desires that are as of yet untapped. I long to connect with someone who is as honest and devoted as I am.
I probably will not contact you first, being that I'm a bit old fashioned, but you can bet that if I do contact you, it's because I'm interested.
**** Lots changed since I wrote this. In TX 10 years now and boys are grown and one has even left home.****
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
For a first date dinner is always nice, it gives us the chance to get to know each other through conversation. Or perhaps a walk in the park. Maybe a football game or to the races would be a lot of fun too. I'm up for all kinds of new adventures.
